EDU-TECH Automation

SCADA systems and practical engineering knowledge

We combine SCADA and HMI systems engineering with hands-on technical training. The knowledge we teach is built in real industrial automation projects.

One company, two competences

EDU-TECH Automation is one company with two connected competences. The name does not describe two separate businesses: EDU is passing knowledge on, TECH is the automation engineering that knowledge comes from.

EDU

Training

Workshop-based training built on real examples and professional applications — spreadsheets, IT tools and SCADA systems.

  • Workshops, not lectures
  • Material from real applications
  • Taught by practitioners
See the training scope

TECH

Automation & SCADA

SCADA and HMI systems engineering: building visualisation applications, configuring servers and clients, and presenting the process on synoptic screens.

  • HMI applications and visualisation
  • Server–client configuration
  • Performance and optimisation

03

Automation & SCADA

Engineering of process visualisation and supervision systems.

  • 01

    HMI applications and process visualisation

Building HMI applications and presenting process data on synoptic screens.

  • 02

    Configuration and system performance

Server and client configuration, performance tuning and server–client communication.

  • 03

    Automating engineering tasks

VB macros and C# solutions where standard system configuration is not enough.

Technical and engineering support for SCADA and HMI systems is the core activity of EDU-TECH Automation. The experience comes from engineering work in the metals industry — on processing lines and rolling mills.

Training

Technical knowledge taught in workshop format.

  • 01

    Spreadsheets

Practical use of spreadsheets in professional work, Excel included.

  • 02

    SCADA and HMI systems

Working with process visualisation and supervision systems, based on project experience.

  • 03

    IT tools in technical work

Software tools that support day-to-day engineering and technical work.

We teach in workshop format — on real examples and professional applications, not on exercises detached from practice. The basis is engineering experience together with teaching work carried out alongside it.

We currently deliver training in the areas above. A catalogue of named courses, with formats and dates, is in preparation.

Excel course

In preparation

Excel course

We are preparing a course on the practical use of Excel in professional work — in data analysis and in technical tasks. The course is not available yet; there is no enrolment and no sale.

Course details
  • Data instead of hunches

A well-organised sheet turns scattered information into a basis for a decision.

  • Automating repetitive tasks

Repetitive work can be organised and automated, reducing manual effort and the risk of error.

  • A sheet that can be checked

A clear structure and written assumptions let someone who did not build the sheet verify the calculations.

  • An engineer’s tool

A spreadsheet is an everyday technical tool — alongside systems and documentation.
