Automation & SCADA
SCADA and HMI systems built around the operator’s work
Technical and engineering support for process visualisation and supervision systems. We work on the layer the operator looks at — and on what has to run behind it.
01
What we confirm we do
One thing stated plainly, before the detail.
Technical and engineering support for SCADA and HMI systems is the core activity of EDU-TECH Automation.
The experience comes from engineering work in the metals industry — on processing lines and rolling mills, in projects delivered in Poland and abroad. We do not publish customer names or descriptions of specific installations.
02
Areas of engineering work
What that support consists of in practice.
01
HMI applications
Building and extending operator screens — from a single view to a consistent set of screens for a whole installation.
02
Process visualisation
Presenting the process on synoptic screens so the state of the installation can be read without interpretation.
03
Server and client configuration
Configuring the server layer, the client stations and the communication between them.
04
System performance
Tuning the application and server–client communication where the system responds more slowly than it should.
05
Automating engineering tasks
VB macros and C# solutions where standard system configuration is not enough.
06
Application diagnostics
Finding the cause when an existing application behaves differently from what the documentation says.
03
When it is worth getting in touch
Typical situations where this kind of support makes sense.
- Operator screens were built in stages and today each one looks different.
- The application needs new views, or existing ones extended.
- The system runs slowly, or server–client communication is unreliable.
- You need to establish why an application behaves differently from its documentation.
- Repetitive engineering tasks take time that could go into the project.
- The way data is presented needs tidying up and a single standard.
If your situation looks different, write anyway. We agree the scope after a conversation, not in advance.

How we approach a task
A simple order of work, the same whatever the scale of the change.
- 01ConversationThe process, the requirements, what has to change
- 02AnalysisA review of the current solution
- 03DeliveryDesign and implementation of the changes
- 04TestingVerification that it works

What we work on
We work on process visualisation and supervision platforms used across industry. For each one we describe separately what we actually do with it and what supports that.

Who does the work
EDU-TECH Automation works as a team of SCADA engineers. The basis is six years in the automation industry and engineering practice on real systems — together with teaching work carried out alongside it.
Describe the system and we will tell you where we can help.
A short description of the situation is usually enough to set the scope of a first conversation.
